ICOM-US: Museum Definition Survey

Dear Colleagues, 

We need your help, especially now, when museums of all kinds are being called on to examine past practice and to enter new frontiers. To that end, we hope you will help us continue the effort of ICOM over the last several years to find a more up-to-date, more relevant, improved definition of “museum.” Please help us by taking the survey below so that we may report to ICOM the opinions, suggestions, ideas, and beliefs of our members as we search for the truest, the most accessible, and the clearest definition of who we are, what we stand for, and how we face an uncertain future with the conviction that museums will stand at the forefront of confronting the challenges of global sustainability and humankind’s melioration. We look forward to your thoughts as we perform this necessary and important work in concert with you.
