2022 ICOM-US WebinarsMuseum Definition Webinar (part of ICOM Define Consultation 4) ICOM-US hosted an open forum, with ICOM-US Museum Definition Task Force, over zoom to discuss the feedback received from the US museum community on the 5 draft definition proposals curated by ICOM Define, based on the global consultations. ICOM-US shared the survey results received and held an interactive discussion to help ICOM-US finalize which proposal to support and submit back to ICOM define for the final step in the methodology. This forum is part of our effort to include as many museum professionals as possible during this two-year process. Representatives from ICOM define joined us on the webinar to share the next moves as we move towards the global vote for the new definition and announcement in Prague in August 2022.
